About this website
The Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Group developed as part of the National Centre for Health Outcomes Development (NCHOD). From 1998-2005, it was funded by the Department of Health through NCHOD. From 2005-2008, it was funded by the NHS Information Centre for Health and Social Care. Based in the Health Services Research Unit, Nuffield Department of Population Health at the University of Oxford, the group has established a number of important resources focussing on Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Patient Reported Experience Measures (PREMs)– see Home page.
The bibliographic database included in this website was first published in 2002, funded by the Department of Health, and it was further developed with DH funding to 2005. In 2005, it became the property of the NHS Information Centre for health & social care. The most recent bibliographic update is current to December 2005. No further updates were funded and none are planned. The bibliographic database is hosted by the University of Oxford and owned by the Information Centre.
